Hacking Vulnerability To Your Smartphone

Beware and Avoid Hacking Problem
It is a great apprehension in the mind of the users as to how hackers might take control of siri and google on your smartphone from some other distant places. What you need is stop these silent hacking elements which are in no way welcomed by any one. It sounds that every passing day we we that different research companies face and find vulnerabilities in the world’s leading mobile world. Actually the work in this connection is being done by the two security researchers on the part of the French government. They have found out a very wise way for hackers to get control of an iOS (an operating system used for mobile devices or Android device) by creeping and managing into the platform’s digital assistants, Siri and Google Now.

It is important to note that this technique of having access to the iOS or Android device is apparently much more technically modernized than simply tricking and compelling the mobile users to download a third-party application that has been extremely affected with malignant virus, malware or adware which not only creates hurdle in the function speed or harm the whole data. The most latest way of getting access to the device depends on the attackers who might surely be using the wire inside of a set of headphones to send electromagnetic signals via GNU Radio software directly from a laptop to the targeted mobile device. In fact, this method of access, which works from more than 16 feet away, and then allows commands to be sent to the mobile devices, and as a result it allows the attackers to tap into Siri or Google Now.

For your more information what happens:
i. It is necessary to note about the level of commands that could be issued to Siri or Now via this source of access is at present not known.
ii. But there’s no need for unnecessary argumentation that hackers could instruct Siri or Google Now to create and send text messages, invoke a phone call directly from the phone, or even visit a maliciously infected website through the Mobile Safari or Chrome browsers.
iii. What is the result of such methods? All of these methods of access could cause in the user’s device unknowingly telephoning a premium rate number or visiting a website designed to run malicious code remotely for extracting sensitive information from your personal data.

Why Is There Any Possibility of Such Access?
i. The reason of this issue of hacking is that the iOS or Android devices under discussion are only actually likely to be vulnerable to the attack when a set of headphones are connected to it.
ii. Another reason may be that those connected headphones must also be microphone-enabled in order for the command to be given.
iii. The important thing that is needed is to be met in order for the device to be hacked really curtails the possibilities of it happening to your device.
iv. Any provided command via GNU Radio means, that targeted devices would still show the Siri or Google Now interface alerting the user.

These findings about this topic of hacking would really be interesting as the researchers undertaking the task have presented their findings during a security conference and published a white paper on the topic electromagnetic attacks for those who wish to learn more. Click this link for the white paper here.

Notes and Meanings:
Google Now is an intelligent personal assistant developed by Google. Google Now is available within the Google Search mobile application for Android and iOS, as well as the Google Chrome web browser on personal computers.

Pepsi's Own Android 5.1 Lollipop Smartphone

It has been a real fact that in China PepsiCo. will release an official licensed phone. It is a great offer. The Android phones will not be manufactured by company. It is still unknown as to who will be the partner to produce the these phones. But it is for sure that the company will lend its brand to the new offer device. It is not to play with people's feelings; it is the real one. This is not a joke concocted by PepsiCo. Very soon China, in the broader sense and on a wide scale, is planning to make an announcement of its own Android smartphone for the Chinese market, according to the a report from Mobipicker, a blog that covers mobile phones. This offer will be availed by many users of smartphones. Pepsi P1 looks to be your typical budget-priced Android 5.1 Lollipop smartphone. As far as the price is concerned, at about $205, the P1 will reportedly come with the following features:

Main Features
i. a 5.5-inch 1080p display,
ii. 1.7GHz processor,
iii. 16GB of internal storage,
iv. 2GB of RAM, and a
v. 3,000 milliamp-hour battery.

The above is one of the leaked images which shows how it looks like having to be Capacitive touchscreen buttons below the screen (though they could be physical ones) and possibly a fingerprint sensor on the back, just below the camera.

What is capacitive?
Capacitive touchscreen displays rely on the electrical properties of the human body to detect when and where on a display the user touches. Because of this, capacitive displays can be controlled with very light touches of a finger and generally cannot be used with a mechanical stylus or a gloved hand)

The phone appears very much pretty skinny; whatever we get from the leaked specs, they suggest a phone that's 0.30-inches thick. The tentative date for the announcement for the P1 phone made by Pepsi will be reportedly on Oct. 20, 2015. Who going to this new Pepsi smart is still a matter interest of the users. Will it attract the new users and make a market for itself? It's tacky enough that people go around wearing NASCAR jackets emblazoned with the Pepsi logo, but on your phone, too? The whole world will only Pepsi-Pepsi.

Brief Introduction And Definitions of Evaluation, Measurement, Assessment and Test

Introduction To Assessment and Judgement in Educational Setting

Before simplifying the definitions of the above mentioned terms it is necessary to throw some light on these as a whole as an introductory part of educational measurement or judgement. For most of the learners it is not easy know the difference between testing, assessment, and evaluation. If we define these terms within an educational setting, they are all used to measure:
i.     how much and in what way all the given tasks are accomplished
ii.    how the assigned materials are being used and mastered by the students
iii.   how much the student are learning
iv.   whether students are achieving the already set goals and objectives.
v.   how the students spend much of their academic time
vi.  how they value themselves academically

For most of the teachers it is extremely important to learn as to what assessment means. Assessment is one of the most vitally important aspects of an educational system. Although you may believe that assessments only provide instructors with information on which to base a score or grade, assessments also help you to assess your own learning. Educationists make the difference between assessment, evaluation, and testing.

Simple Definition of Measurement, Evaluation, Test and Assessment

Definition of Measurement:
Measurement refers to the set of procedures and the principles as to how to use the procedures in educational tests and assessments. Some of the basic principles of measurement in educational evaluations would be raw scores, percentile ranks, derived scores, standard scores, etc. According to J.P Guilford, measurement means the description of data. All the class tests - monthly, bimonthly, midterm, final term exams's scores can be counted in measurement.

Definition of Evaluation:
Evaluation in education means procedures which are used to determine whether the subject (i.e. student) meets a preset criteria, such as qualifying for special education services. This uses assessment (remember that an assessment may be a test) to make a determination of qualification in accordance with a predetermined criteria. In simple words, evaluation is the process of making judgments based on pre-set criteria and evidence.

Definition of Test:
Test is a method of determining a student's ability to complete certain tasks or demonstrate mastery of a skill or knowledge of content, that is learning stuff). Some of the types of tests would be multiple choice tests, or a weekly spelling test. While it is commonly used interchangeably with assessment, or even evaluation, it can be distinguished by the fact that a test is one form of an assessment. In other words a test or quiz is used to judge or examine someone's knowledge of something to determine what he or she knows or has learned. Testing measures the level of skill or knowledge that has been achieved.

Definition of Assessment:
Assessment if the the process of gathering information to monitor progress and make educational decisions if necessary. As noted in my definition of test, an assessment may include a test, but also includes methods such as observations, interviews, behavior monitoring, etc. Assessment refers to measuring what you know and what have learned. Assessment is the process of documenting knowledge, skills, attitudes and beliefs, usually in measurable terms. The goal of assessment is to make improvements, as opposed to simply being judged. The benefit of assessment is to help a teacher ro build confidence in the students ability to learn.
