These steps are necessary for you to follow:
First  Step: You need to download the Official Android 5.1 Lollipop firmware (Blur_Version.212.44.26.ghost _row.AsiaRetail.en.03.zip) from the above link on your PC for the Moto X 2013.
Second Step: It's important to save the firmware file on the desktop of your PC without extracting.
Third Step: Then connect your Moto X with the PC using its USB data cable.
Fourth Step: Also transfer the firmware update file to the root folder of your SD card on the device.
