You cannot instill the school work into the mind of the those students who are dull or receptive. They are difficult to cope with both in the classroom and home. Such students are a great challenge for teachers and for parents both. The question is how to deal with these students. As far as my personal experience is concerned I give them the learning stuff piece by piece and little by little because these lots cannot go along with the bright and even mediocre students. Parents should teach them sentence by sentence at first and the question by question. After giving a lot of practice, starts giving them half of the lesson. And then the full lesson.. Dull students must not be overburdened. They must not be compared with sharp-minded students because this will make the victim to inferiority complex. More important in this connection is the consultation with a psychiatrist. so as to know whether the child is suffering from autism. Autism means a mental condition, present from early childhood, characterized by great difficulty in communicating and forming relationships with other people and in using language and abstract concepts.
