Material pursuits haunt our minds but all life does not end in "buying and selling", "getting and spending". Life was conceived with a purpose. man who is the "roof and crown of all things" has certain nobler ends to pursue than merely to feed himself fat. Unlike the dumb driven cattle, he needs the freedom of the soul, emotional relaxation, sentimental attachment, social interaction, economic security and no less mental and spiritual enlightenment. If the bread earning were the be-all and the end-all of life, The rich sunk deep and luxuries would have never been seen having sighs in the kings and emperors would have never abdicated their throne for the sweet relish of the nectar of love.
